Hi, I am Yvonne. I am a recent graduate of Duke University, majoring in Business Analytics, Forensics concentration.

I majored in Accounting during my undergrad study, and at that time I had little knowledge in data analytics. I realized the importance of data analytics and decided to learn more about how to incorporate data analysis into accounting.

I learnt R, SQL and Python on Coursera, Datacamp, and also during my study at Duke University. I was deeply amazed by the extent that data can reflect our preference, our daily behaviour and life patterns. I am extremely passionate about exploring and manipulating data, and convert them into business insights.

This blog tracks my data science learning progress. I will upload my notes, projects and some random thoughts about data science and financial fraud analytics.

Apart from my academic and professional experience, I love photographing📸 and traveling🌏. I'm also currently learning Japanese.
